In the article, I briefly referenced two types of communication plan tools:  a Stakeholder List and a Communication Matrix.  If you were to google “communication plan example,” you would find tons of examples of these tools, some of them good and some that look like they were developed by a third grader.  Let me save you some time and direct you to a document that I consider to have good examples of these tools.

This document is the US Department of Health and Human Services’ communication plan template.  It’s not easy to link directly to it, but if you google “communication matrix site:hhs.gov,” the first search result will link you to it.
