But over those same years, we have improved the quality of our education tremendously. And even though we feel that a price increase after 6-1/2 years is warranted, we want to keep it as small as possible for you.
So, effective October 1, 2007, these new prices will be in effect:

That was the bad news, but there is good news! The cost for enrolling in the SPSM Certification Program will stay the same at $1149. And you can still apply fees you've paid for any classes that you've taken that are part of the SPSM Certification Program to the enrollment fees for the SPSM Certification Program!
This price increase should be of particular interest to purchasing professionals that are trying to decide how to go about earning their SPSM Certifications. You can still pursue your SPSM Certification via the Pay-As-You-Go Certification Plan or the SPSM Certification Program. Provided that you can complete your SPSM Certification before the next price increase, pursuing your SPSM Certification via the Pay-As-You-Go Certification Plan will cost $1,418. By comparison, you would save $269 by enrolling in the SPSM Certification Program instead. But you have to decide: would you rather pay less in the long run or have the flexibility of spreading your payments out? There really is no "right" answer - it all depends on your preferences.
